What it is

GHRP-2 is a growth-hormone-releasing peptide that works through the ghrelin receptor to prompt the pituitary to release GH. It belongs to the same family as GHRP-6 and ipamorelin.

How it is thought to work

By activating the ghrelin receptor it triggers GH release and — as a side effect of that pathway — stimulates appetite. It’s often discussed alongside a GHRH like CJC-1295 for a combined effect.

The evidence and the caveat

There’s real human pharmacology here (it’s been used in GH-stimulation testing), but evidence for sustained body-composition or anti-aging benefit is limited, and it carries the GH-axis cautions.
